Obituary of Linda Sue Doran

Linda Sue Doran (Ensle) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on April 17, 2024, in Johnson City, TN, at the age of 71.

Linda was born on April 24, 1952, in Norfolk, VA. She was a devoted Christian, Wife, Mother, and grandmother, known for her unwavering faith and love for her family.

Linda's life was dedicated to serving God and others. She found joy in singing worship songs at her church and was always there to lend a helping hand, especially to children in need. Linda's passion for children led her to work in various roles, from running a home daycare to teaching Sunday School and offering her home as a safe haven for children in emergency situations.

Linda will be deeply missed by her husband of 47 years, David James Doran, Sr., her sisters Lee Anne Ensle and Leisa Villani (Mike), her children April Stout (Will), Anna Evans (Corey), Andrew Doran (Kylene), stepson David Doran, Jr (Barbara), and her beloved grandchildren (11 total) and great grandchildren (4).

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Joan Ensle. Linda's memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Linda's life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 3pm at FaithLight Fellowship (formerly known as Coastlands Community Church) located at 1119 Lindale Dr., Chesapeake, VA 23320. An additional service will take place at Doran Addition Freewill Baptist Church in Kingsport, TN, with details to be announced by Pastor Steve.

Linda's legacy of love and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
