Obituary of George Albert Thompson

George “Bo” Thompson, age 75 of Kingsport, entered into eternity on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.  Bo was born on February 20, 1947 in Kingsport, TN to John and Lucille Thompson.  Bo worked most of his life as a tree climber and trimmer. 

Bo loved life.  He enjoyed fishing and good ole country music.  He cherished his grand kids, family and friends, and his humor will be definitely be missed.

George was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Tib Thompson, Rob Thompson, and Roy Thompson; and one sister, Ruth Sexton.  Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Clalie Sanchez and husband Eric; the love of his life, Kathy Carrico; grandchildren, Adan Sanchez, Jazmin Sanchez, Eury Estrada, John Kaywood, Michael Thompson, Dustin Kaywood, and Julie Kaywood.
