Marlene and I were cousins for 72 years and she was more like a sister to me. Not sure how you say goodby to all those years! Peace awaits you! Louis, so sorry for your loss, you was good husband!

Louis, Brian and Family,
I was very sorry and shocked, too, to hear about my friend, Marlene passing. I had just talked with her about a couple of months ago in Dr. Ginn's office when I brought my Mom over to see him. We talked for a good while, and she looked really good as always. I seen her several times in the malls, and we always talked. I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to you all. She will definitely be missed. May God Bless. Phyllis Presley Kennedy

My thoughts and prayers are with Louis and family.. I became acquainted with Marlene and Louis when their granddaughter, Savannah, was at Jackson Elementary where I worked in the office. Marlene and Louis were such a delight to talk to and were the grandparents that definitely left an impression on me.

Mr. Collier
I am so very sorry for your loss of Marlene. I got to know you all through Savannah playing Upward basketball and continued when you began attending Oak Grove. I worked in the church office at Oak Grove and registered Savannah the first year she played. Marlene said she wasn’t sure if Savannah would want to play but she would register her and see. And as you know, Savannah loved playing! God bless you and your family in the coming days! Love and prayers!
