Obituary of Connie Arnold Nickels

Connie Arnold Nickels, age 69, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Kingsport. She was a homemaker and a manager at Burger King. She loved to sew and work puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Nickels; brother, Randall Arnold; and parents, Ray Arnold and Louise Webb.

She is survived by her daughters, Jamie Mackie and husband, Keith, and Ann Booker; grandchildren, Joshua White, Ryan Lawson, Aaron Lawson and Krista Booker; great-grandchildren, Kaelyn White, Braelyn Booker, Maysie White, Kinsleigh Lawson, Bryson Booker and soon, McKinley Lawson; step-father, Ernest Webb; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend, Kathy Barton.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in downtown Kingsport. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Kingsport. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.cartertrent.com.
